Approved For Release 20041,01/14: CIA-RDP75B0038OR000100040091-1 ud ,`R I 25X1 25X1 Journal -? Office of Legislative Counsel Page 3 Wednesday 21 February 1973 7. Called Forest Reece, Senate Agriculture and Forestry Committee staff, regarding his request for a briefing of Senator Bellmon along with himself and Carl Kettler, of Bellmon's staff. I told Reece I thought we could do this but would need to check on the staff's security clearances. He said Kettler had a DOD clearance and that he had been cleared in 1969 in connection with his position at the Department of Agriculture. I told him I would check on the clearances and come back to him with some suggested dates for the briefing, probably not until early next week. 8. I I I advised Bill Woodruff, Counsel, Senate Appro- priations Committee, that the Defense Communications Agency would be appearin?; before the National Capitol Park and Planning Commission on 28 February to discuss a sensitive project. I merely wished to keep him advised as to our progress. I told Woodruff that Ralph Preston, House Appropriations Committee staff, had asked for a staff briefing on the Agency budget- perhaps next week and we wondered if the situation had crystalized on the Senate side with respect to the roles that will be played by Guy McConnell and Jim Calloway. Woodruff said the situation was still somewhat up in the air but if we had a briefing next week that perhaps all three of them would participate. I told him I would be back in touch with him. 25X1 9. I I Representative Clarence Miller's (R. , Ohio) office called and asked to have employment brochures and 25X1A application forms sent to a cons I _J Personnel has been advised. 25X1 supplementary sections which we received on 14 February concerning Justice's draft revision of Title 18, U.
