JOURNAL
OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL
Monday - 23 April 1973
1. Met with Ralph Preston, House
Appropriations Committee staff, and returned to him the copies ~ofthe
House and Senate riefings together with copies of the General
Graham article which he had requested. He commented that he hoped
that we would not be too long in responding to the Committee's questions
to the Director in the meeting of Wednesday, 18 April.
Kalinowski, Assistant to Frank Slatinshek, Chief Counsel, House Armed
Services Committee, and told her that George Carver, SAVA, will probably
be going to the coast on Wednesday to testify in the Ellsberg case. See
Journal of 12 April.
4. Alerted Jim Gehrig, Senate Aeronautical and
Space Sciences Committee staff, on preparations which the Soviets are making
for the launch of another space booster. I told him the exact nature of this
launch is unknown but discussed several alternative possibilities. Gehrig
asked if we would keep him posted whenever we obtain any additional infor-
mation.
