James Buckley (R., N. Y.), called to advise that he was leaving town for
the rest of the week and I told him we would get in touch with him on Monday.
This concerns a matter of interest to SB Division.

Colby and Shackley to a meeting of our joint Senate Subcommittees regarding
the Chilean elections and ITT at which Senator Church was present. See
Memorandum for the Record.
17. Following the Director's briefing of the Senate 25X1
CIA Subcommittees with Senator Church in attendance, Bill Woodruff, Senate
Appropriations Committee staff, raised a question about apparent inconsistencies
between the figures which Ted Sh.ackley gave for expenditures in Chile in 1970
Shackley said he thought this 25X1
could be easily explained but we agreed to look into it and be back in touch.
