Approved For Release 2004/03/17 : CIA-RDP75B00380R000100070027-9 CONFIDEN IIAL JOURNAL OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Monday - 11 June 1973 1. Received a call from George Berdes, National Security Policy and Scientific Developments Subcommittee staff, confirming the meeting with Chairman Zablocki on Soviet and Chinese strategic advances during the period of the SALT I agreement for 14 June 1973 at 2:00 p. m. , Room H-227 in the Capitol. 2. Met with Ralph Preston, House Appropriations Committee staff, who asked if we would provide a fact sheet on Intermountain Airlines for Representative John Rhodes (R. , Ariz. ). I briefed Preston on several items of current intelligence interest. See Memorandum for the Record. 3. Met with Frank Slatinshek, Chief Counsel, Home Armed Services Committee, and brought him up-to-date on my meetings with Chairman Nedzi, Intelligence Subcommittee, and Representative William Bray (R. , Ind. ) of Friday. See Memorandum for Record of 8 June 1973. With regard to the press interviews on Sam Adams, I reminded Slatinshek that we have been awaiting the Committee's pleasure for scheduling of briefings for the Intelligence Subcommittee on the Vietnamese and Cambodian OB and other related matters arising from claims made by Adams against the military starting in the late 1960's. Slatinshek said that the schedule has been so crowded that it may be some time yet before they can get to this matter. In the meantime he asked if we would provide an order of battle for both the friendly and unfriendly forces in Cambodia. George Carver, SAVA, has been advised.
