Committee staff, and gave him

Assistant to Senator Claiborne Pell (D. , R. I. ), in response to his earlier
question and told him that

concerning the proposed debriefing of Representatives Mailliard . , a i . )
and McFall (D. , Calif.) on their China visit. I told him that this office
interposes no objection. He will check further to see what arrangements or
proposals are in the mill for possible debriefing of Representative Morgan
(D. , Pa.) and other recent China visitors.
4. (Confidential - JGO) Received a call from Frank Slatinshek, Chief
Counsel, House Armed Services Committee, who told me that Representative
William Bray (R. , Ind.) is concerned that the Committee has not been briefed
on the NSCIDs. It was Bray's understanding that Senate Armed Services had
been briefed. After discussion Slatinshek requested that he be kept advised
so that if possible, Bray be included in such briefing as may be scheduled for
Chairman Nedzi, Intelligence Subcommittee.
