8. (Confidential - JGO) Talked to Ralph Preston, House Appropria-
tions Committee staff, who told me that he had talked to Representative
John J. Rhodes (R. , Ariz.) during the day. Representative Rhodes told
him that the material Preston had provided on Intermountain Aviation was
completely satisfactory. Preston will return the documents that he retained
after his return to the city next week, has been
advised.
Preston told me also that since he will be away from the city for
the remainder of the week, it will be necessary to cancel the briefing
scheduled for Tuesday morning at the Agency. He will reschedule with
me after his return on Monday. Charles Briggs, OPPB, has been advised.
