MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: DCI Briefing of the Full.Senate Armed Services
Committee - 8 October 1973
1. This afternoon, the Director briefed the full Senate Armed
Services Committee on the Middle East war. The meeting lasted from
1430 hours until 1515 hours. A technical sweep of the room, 212 Russell
Office Building, was not conducted, and there was no technical monitoring
but the room was kept under security control. The briefing was conducted
on a Top Secret COMINT leve.L No transcript was taken.
