2. Talked to Don Lynch, Senate Armed Services
Committee staff, to arrange for a briefing for Jim Woolsey, of the staff, and
himself on the Soviet VSTOL carriers. Lynch said he would be away until
next week and added Ed Braswell, Chief Counsel of the Committee, also
wanted Charles Cromwell, of the staff, to be included in the briefing. I
told Lynch I would check on Cromwell's clearances and we would get together 25X1
early next week to set a date for the briefing.
