1. ) Received a call from Scott Cohen,
Executive Assistant to Senator Charles Percy (R. , Ill. ), who told me
that the Senator and Mrs. Percy will be traveling to the Far East and
would appreciate very much being briefed by the Agency representative
at each of his stops. The Senator will not be back in town before he
departs for the Far East. The Senator will be arriving at the following
stops on the dates indicated:
I told Mr. Cohen I would relay his request and be back in touch with him
in the morning. has been advised.

joined John ar , ot e 1 ra y of Congress, in meeting with Representative
Henry Reuss (D. , Wis. ) this morning to discuss Soviet economic and
trade matters. The Congressman will be joining Senators Humphrey
(D. , Minn.) and Bellmon (R. , Okla.) on the trip to the Soviet Union.
Mr. Reuss was most interested in the thoughts and comments given him
by Hardt and d expressed his appreciation for our taking the time
to see him. The meeting lasted about an hour and a half and no problems
were encountered.
