(Internal Use Only - JGO) Met with Herb Roback, Staff Director, House Government Operations Cornrnittee, and returned to him the Committee file on Colonel Joseph Christiano, an Air Force officer missing in action on a flight over Laos on 24 December 1965. Although I was unable to provide any substantive information on the case, I indicated other possible sources of Information that had not been explored. 11. (Confidential - JGO) Met with Bill Hogan, Intelligence Subcommittee afaff_ House Armed Services Cornrnittee, and closed out his earlier request Hogan told me that Chairman Nedzi asked i a ate as een se or return of a sterile version of the Committee transcripts of the Agency Watergate hearing. I told him that to my knowledge we have not undertaken any such review and that we have no present plans to do so. I thought it had been agreed that the transcripts would not be published. Hogan asked if I would take this up directly with Chairman Nedzi on Monday. I also received from Ho an for our information two more postcards to the Cornrnittee from 12, (Secret - JGO) Talked to Bill Ashworth, Senate Foreign Relations Cornrnittee staff, who told me that he did not see a need at the present time for a formal briefing of the Arms Control, International Law and Organization Subcommittee on the recent advances in Soviet strategic weapons but he would appreciate if I would come by early in the week and bring him up-to-date. Carl Duckett, DDS&T, has been advised. 13. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Talked to Angela Morris, Secretary to Jim Lowenstein, Senate Foreign Relations Cornrnittee staff, who told me that the itinerary for the Lowenstein/Moose trip to Europe has not been finalized.
