1. I talked with about the independence of his auditors
following up on John O'Gara's suggestion that they be carried on an Audit
field VO. He said that while he would prefer such an arrangement he could
live with the present situation and did not desire to push for a change at
this time.
2. is entering the hospital on Wednesday for an operation
and will be back to work in about a month.
3. Jim Bishop reports that be and met with members of the
Fairfax County Planning Commission yesterday to get their reaction to the pro-
posed construction of a CIA building on the Tengley property. He says that
they appear to be most enthusiastic and will do anything they can to help.
