1. At the Deputies Meeting this morning I briefed the Director
on the history of Executive Order 10150, which has culminated in recent
newspaper publicity advertising the fact that we had 75 separations,
including 48 perverts, between 28 May 1953 and 1 July 1951. The Director
feels strongly that it is highly prejudicial to employee morale to have
this information published, which appears to be purely a political football,
and, furthermore, is damaging to our relationships with other foreign
governments and particularly intelligence services. (What would our re-
action be if we read the same information in paper concerning 25X1

Director still is not completely sold on this Site and requests that we
explore further the possibility of overcoming the three major obstacles at
Langley, i.e. transportation, sewerage disposal and civic objection. Have
