1. General Morris reports that he has talked to General Young of
G-1 about 0-1 will send a cable to General Mark
Clark and, unless General Mark Clark objects, wi11 25X1A9a

to allow the Director to interview him concerning his possible assignment
to CIA.
2. Met with Dr olonel Edwards, and - to discuss Dr. 25X1A9a

3. I contacted Mr. Broadbent, Bureau of the Budget, who said that
his planning was not far enough along to enable him to discuss building
possibilities with me prior to Tuesday. He promised to contact me early
on Tuesday morning and set up a meeting.
1. I authorize to go ahead with the installation of 400 25X1A9a
additional telephone Znes We understanding that the cost to the
Telephone Company would be in the neighborhood of 417,000 and that we
would be responsible for only a pro rata share of this if we should move
from our present location within the next three years. I asked him to pre-
pare a memorandum for the DD/A's approval so that we would have a record
of this understanding.
