1. Talked to about the memorandum concerning
advances. He and the Comptroller believe that all of the information which
we need to present this case to the Director is already on file in the Agency.
I offered him suggestions as to haw Mr. Wisner' s memorandum might be re-
written to take care of this and asked that action be expedited.
2. Talked to Mr. Pforzheimcr about Employment Review Board cases. There
is only one possible case pending. The General Counsel doubts that the evi-
dence is sufficient to warrant formal Employment Review Board proceedings. I
asked Mr. Pforzheimer to tell Mr. Houston that we would like to have this clear-
ed up by the end of next week.
