Approved For Relse 2002/06 - P76-00183ROQ0050099-1 DIARY NOTES DD /S 19 January 1956 25X1A6A 1. Have asked Jim Garrison to look into the property with a view to the possibility of moving our Motor Pool there or acquiring it for ware- housing purposes. 2. Approved of a $10,000 project for Shef involving a particularly sensitive operation in the Far East. 3. Talked twice to Alan Spalding of the Federal City Council. He wanted my full name and that of Stan Grogan which I gave to him. He also asked me for my confidential opinion as to the results of last nightTs meeting. I told him that frankly I felt we should follow the procedures now in process through the Nation- al Capital Planning Commission and that we proposed to do so. 25X1A9A 4. Met with Ed Saunders, Q and others to talk about the possible re- location of the Finance Division. Agreed that the Offices of Training and Commu- nications should show reasons why they could not move from the Alcott Hall area in order that we might be able to decide whether or not to move the Finance Divi- sion to Alcott Hall or to Quarters Eye. 5. Harry Reynolds telephoned to ask whether or not he should have secretar- ial help available for the Killian group. I told him to keep a couple of secre- taries on tap and that I could probably let him know what the situation was after I met with members of the Committee on Monday. 6. Mr. Phil Mullin, Administrative Assistant to Senator Gordon Allott of Colorado, telephoned to inquire about the status of our architectural arrange- ments for our new building. I told him that we had already selected the firm of Harrison & Abramovitz as the principal architect but had not decided on an asso- ciate and could not do so at this time. 25X1 C4E dvmmqr_~ 9, Approved For Release 2002/06/24: CIA-RDP76-00183R000200050099-1 25X1 Approved For Release 2002/06/24: CIA-RDP76-00183R000200050099-1 Next 1 Page(s) In Document Exempt Approved For Release 2002/06/24: CIA-RDP76-00183R000200050099-1
