25X1A9a Matt Baird telephoned with regard to This is the man whom the FE
Division offered to Matt, along with a slot, sometime ago. At that time I declined
to allow the Division to transfer this slot to the Office of Training. However, Matt
25X1A9a now says that he has a slot, that ias been doing an outstanding job for the Of-
fice of Training, and that he, personally, has looked into the situation with great
care and wants to transfer him to his shop. I told him that if he had gone into the
25X1A9a matter to this extent and wantediI would offer no objection.
