a) Noted he had received word from Congressmen Tabor
yesterdsy a ternoon that we might soon expect a colt from
Congressman Clarence Cannon regarding our budget hearing. The
Director said Mr. Tabor had advised him that Mr. Cannon would,
without a doubt, accuse the Agency of falling down in its
prediction and reporting on the Hungarian and Polish riots and

would like to see this effort made and with the Director's

and activities at that station be beefed?up and noted that we
had three people ready to go at such time as the 25X1C4a
approval can be obtained. Mr. Wisner commented he felt we
