Talked to about representing me on the Publications Survey Board and emphasized that e was an across-the-board representative and not merely an ad- visor on reproduction matters. 2. Advised that the Deputy Director (Plans) was preparing the com- ments on the Perry/Wilhelm report and asked him to advise me if they should be sent directly to the Director rather than through me. 3. Also agreed with Jack that due to his forthcoming absence I would go ahead and discuss the Inspector General's comments on the Management Staff with General Cabell. 4. Conducted a Building Steering Committee Meeting at which we reached agree- ment on most points. Have arranged for two representatives from Harrison & Abram- ovitz to come down on Tuesday to discuss a couple of unsettled matters such as 75 ft. cubicles as opposed to 150 ft. cubicles, the arrangement of corridors in Wing 5, and the placement of pneumatic outlets. who is going to be the new Chief of Station 5. Talked to I about his future assignment and told him that I would hope to finalize it before he returned from leave. It was agreed that all windows on the ground and first floors and secure areas on all other floors would have grills. We also agreed that we should have fire protection in some of our secure areas, but I asked Shef to re-examine the necessity for such measures in all such areas since it will be a very expensive item.
