that the auditors in the Far East were getting paid too much overtime. I asked him
to draft a cable on this subject which I might send to General_ who is meeting
with his auditors ~ at about this time.

heavy going and it was the unanimous opinion of the Committee that the. Agency should
not become involved with it without first clearing with the Federal Bureau of Investi-
gation and the Bureau of the Budget. Arrangements are being made to present these
questions to the Director.
