1. I asked Jim Garrison to expedite the Project providing for the purchase of a
number of houses overseas. (As of now he has submitted the Project and it is in the
process of coordination.)
25X1 A6a 2. Jim Garrison reported that the owners of which we have
now vacated, are submitting a. claim for $124,000 for restoration of the property to the
condition it was in when we rented it. This may well go to court with the General Services
Administration acting for us inasmuch as the claim would appear to be quite excessive.
25X1A9a 3. suggested that inasmuch as the Director had such a personal
25X1 C4c interest in the that we check with the Director
before finally selecting a new General Manager.
25X1 A9a 4. telephoned to say that the Director wanted some precedence, if
any, for including the Deputy Director of an Agency on the cornerstone. I will ask the
Office of Logistics to look into this and supply me with the necessary information.
