Approved For Release 2009/08 : CIA-RDP76-00183R000300020245-0 Z 1. Shef were up to brief me on a scheme of turnstiles which they have for controlling entrance to the new building. This would involve a new kind of badge which, when inserted in a slot, would permit the turnstile to open. The big problem seems to be whether we can k=xmubKRx have such an arrangement in the main entrance of the buildin and still, comply with fire control regulations. I will have to discuss this with There is also a question of funds and I told Gene and Shef that I hoped they would not come up with anymore last-minute proposals. 2. were up to give me a general briefing on activities in the Commercial Staff and requested the assignment of me a JOR JOT, to their Staff . I told them that I would explore this with the Board but that I as sympathetic to their request. Apparently he is now scheduled for assignment 3. Ed Saunders has expressed a desire to meet with me to discuss the reorganization of Security and especially the elimination of the Budget and Finance Section. He also says he has heard that the Director of the Bureau of the Budget is going to be briefed on Project CHALICE.,. I told him I knew nothing about it but would find. out and let him know.
