2. I have asked Ed Saunders to look into the Budget situation for the Language
Development Program and the Office of Training and to submit his recommendations to
me as to what adjustments should be made, if any, in order to pay for the commitments
we have made.
25X1A9a 3. vas up to brief me on the status of funds for the Space, Main-
tenance an aci 1 ies branch of the Office of Logistics and to discuss specifically the
request of the Photographic Intelligence Center for some $30,000 worth of equipment-
25X1A9a installation costs. After some discussion and talking to about the
matter, it was agreed that DD/I would pay 50% of this and Logistics the remainder. (I
have so advised Ed Saunders.)

4. I also discussed with the location of the computer. We have
now agreed that it should be installed in either "K" or "I" Buildings and Marty was
asked to develop a paper which would lay out the advantages and disadvantages, to
include relative costs of these two locations, projecting the cost forward for two years,
which should see us into our new building.
