2. telephoned to say that he had received a complaint from Bill
of DD/I about moving the material in the Vital Materials Vault at the -
to the Records Center. I told him that I had approved of this, but with
the understanding that had coordinated it with all interested parties. I
checked with John who assured me that he had done so. I asked him, however, to get
in touch with and explain the matter to him. (I want to check with John to
make sure that this has been taken care of to DD/I's satisfaction.)
3. I attended a GEHA Board Meeting at which the Board presented its proposals
to implement our new Insurance Program to become effective 1 July 1960. I think that
they have a well thought-out approach and I asked o give me the basic
principles in writing after which I would arrange for him to brie General Cabell. I
also think that it would be desirable for Bob to make a brief presentation at the next
Senior Staff Meeting in order to sell some of the points which we feel are necessary for
security reasons.
