talked t riefly who agreed that it would be appropriate to appoint

OCI/Staff D Project to employ blind persons for translation duties. I asked him to insure
that this paper came to DD/S before it was released.

4. At the Deputies' Meeting this morning:
a. There was considerable discussion as to the advisability of continuin
the SR Research Staff in the Office of the DD/I. This is headed by

ever, inasmuch as Bob Amory was not present and he should express his opinion
before any action is taken.

clear this with the Director and asked John to prepare a brief note which I could use as a
basis for my discussion with the Director.
