DIARY NOTES
DD/S 7 July 1960
1. I aske 25X1A9a
to noti that he should assume the chairman-
ship of the Automatic Data Processing Committee during the temporary absence of -5X1A9a
In the course of our conversation-suggested that the Management StaWX1A9a
be represented on the Budget Advisory Committee as well as on the Support Procedures
Committee. I do not believe that the Management Staff could make a contribution to the
Budget Advisory Committee; however, it is entirely possible that they might be represented
appropriately on the Support Procedures Committee and I have asked
cuss this with - to 5W1 A9a
2. The Director buzzed to say that a meeting with Messrs. Stans and Lyons had
been arranged for 5:00 p.m. tomorrow to discuss our separation regulations.

3. Shef Edwards and two of his people were up to brief me on Project
I was very well impressed with the coverage that they had in this Project and of its possible
future use. The most difficult job confronting the Project is just now beginning and will,
of course, continue until the new building is finished. However, I am satisfied that they
are pretty well organized to furnish adequate coverage.

4. telephoned to say that he had interviewed and while
he thought that he was a very nice fellow, well motivated, etc. , he did not see any way
that DD/P could use him.
