Apparently, Eugene Lyons of the White House is still opposed to the payment of up to twelve months salary. Frank was to see Mr. Stans this afternoon and promised to get in touch with me within a day or two. I specifically requested that he telephone me rather than write so that we could arrange a meeting with Messrs. Stans and Lyons if neces- sary. 1'f 2. I discussed the Office of Central Reference proposal to go ahead with the Videograph Project with Jim Garrison and separately. It has been agreed to put this on the agenda for the Project Review Committee Meeting on Thursday afternoon. has been notified.
