2. telephoned to recommend that replace him as Chairman
of the Agency's Automatic Data Processing Committee and that the Management Staff take25X1A
over the DD/I Feasibility Team. He will be in to discuss these matters with me within a
few days.
5. Messrs. Garrison, were up to talk to me about sculpture
for the new building. They are very fearful that we do not have enough money in our con-
tin enc fund to forward with sculpture at this time. Change orders made necessary
d putting the Development Projects Division in the building have been
quite expensive, If and when we do employ a sculptor and the public Buildings 25X1A
Service have agreed on an individual whom they would Re to commission. Incidentally,
this is one of the people suggested by as a possibility.
6. 1 asked Messrs. to have a talk with Mr. Aiken of the Dis-
trict Highway Department a out t e demo ition of "M" and "Q' Buildings. I do not wish to
go to Commissioner Welling on this unless I have to. I also asked them to find out what
the latest plans are for construction of the Cabin John Bridge and to review quickly the

Bureau of Public Roads property to identify areas where we might improvise athletic fields
for our people when we move to the new building.
7. Reviewed with Emmett Echols our proposed letter to the Bureau of the Budget con-
cerning our "separation out procedures" and forwarded it to the Director for signature.
8. I approved of a proposal presented by Emmett Echols whereby we would give our
contract employees, who are comparable to staff employees, health insurance similar to
that provided in the new Government plan for staff employees.
