Approved For Release 2001/08/01 eR 3 76-00183800 00080145-5 DD/S 1. I talked to tan Grogan several times about two fires which occurred at the building site yesterday. One occurred about eleven yesterday morning when the workmen were burning trash outside of the building and a spark ignited the wrapping on some cooling coils for air conditioning ducts. The damage is unknown but the contractor estimates that it might be $10 to $20 thousand. This, of course, is at the contractor's risk and not ours. Last night about ten there was a fire on the seventh floor. Apparently, this was caused by someone throwing a cigarette in a burlap bag of wooden wedges. There was no damage other than some burned wedges. agreed that Gates Lloyd would look into this matter with Matt Baird and Jim Garrison when he is down there tomorrow. 3. I talked to Mr. Dulles and General Cabell about going next25X1A2g week to visit the Senior Management Seminar. They agreed to o is--- r. es on Monday and General Cabell on Thursday.
