I met with Jim Garrison, and others from the Of- 25X1A6a fice of Logistics, CA Staff, and WH Division to discuss the necessity for a logistics base located Actually a base is already in existence but under the jurisdiction of W ; the decision to be made is whether it will continue to be administered by WH/IMr turned over to the Office of Logistics. WHO is most AMA anxious to turn it over to Logistics; I have approved. (In conversations with this group and in a later conversation with J. C. King, I expressed my desire to go to sometime within the next few weeks to look over our real estate. J. C. is most anxious to have me do this. 3. In a conversation with Jim Cunningham' I agreed to go to- on 2 October to look a I shall return about 5 October. 4. telephoned to say that bids for the TSD -installation were in and that the Office of Logistics felt that they would need $175,000 rather than $150,000 to go ahead with this project.
