DIARY NOTES
25X1 A DD/S
24 January 1962
1. I toured the headquarters building with Messrs. Garrison and and 25X1 A,9a
representatives from the Public Buildings Service. I think that it is extremely doubtful
that the ground floor will be completed in time for our move as now scheduled. PBS rep- / J
resentatives thought that we would be in a greatly improved position if we waited for two
weeks but suggested that we not postpone it longer for fear that the contractor might re-
lax.
2. Slater Davidson telephoned later in the day to invite me to cocktails and dinner
at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, 1 February, at the Roger Smith Hotel. I accepted. In the
course of our conversation he said that the paneling for the Director's office definitely
would be on the site on the twenty-ninth of January. I told him that I was very worried
about the ground floor, especially certain parts of it in which the Records Integration
Division was to be quartered. He said that he could expedite a particular section and
would be glad to do so if I would get to him a sketch without delay identifying it precisely.
25X1 A9a (I talked to and arranged to have a sketch delivered to Slater Davidson
personally on the morning of 25 January 1962.)

3. I learned from Shef Edwards that had requested that he be given
25X1A6a an Immunization Record for entry into - without having to take the necessary shots.
I told Shef, as well as John Tiet jen, not to honor this request. I also learned that he has
not yet filed his Personal History Statement despite a considerable amount of needling
25X1A9a by the Office of Personnel. I spoke to about both these matters, and on
25 January, Jack telephoned to say that Terry had taken his shots on 25 January and that
he had promised to get his Personal History Statement in without further delay.
