1. Jim Garrison advised me that the 25X1A6a
and he thinks that there is a possibility
that we might obtain the igloos, which they will be vacating, as well as the
houses. I told Jim, by all means, to pursue this. On the surface it would
appear that this would be a much more economical and certainly a more efficient
housing arrangement than we have at present. The igloos would, of course,
add to our storage capacity.
2. Jim Garrison advised me that NPIC is requesting use of Logistics
people, whom they will replace as they recruit their own. I asked him to give
me further facts on this since I would like to discuss this whole problem with
Ray Cline.
3. Emmett Echols telephoned for advice on what he should say to Ben
and a law student at the University of Virginia, who
would like summer employment with the Agency. I told him I regretted that we
