SECRET Approved For Release 2000/08/27 : CIA-RDP76-00183yt000500070029-3 DIARY NOTES DD/S14 June 1965 1. At the Executive Committee Meeting this morning: a. The Director asked everyone to read the Office of National Es- timates' 11 June 1965 briefing paper on the Vietnamese situation and be prepared to discuss it tomorrow morning. b. There was a brief discussion of the fifteen-year plan with em- phasis on the actions which need to be taken in the Intelligence Commu- nity as opposed to CIA itself. (After the meeting I talked with Mr. Kirk- patrick to get a better feel for his ideas concerning the internal plan. He confirmed that he wants one principal and two alternate representa- tives from each Deputy Directorate. He did not anticipate that this would be a full-time job for the principal representative but wanted this job to have first claim on this individual's time. He thought that new space would not be required and that people could work from their present offices. He agreed, however, that 2430 E Street would be the logical place to locate work space if necessary.) 25X1A9a 2. Larry Houston, and I met with Bill Crockett to dis- cuss H. R. 6277. (See my Memorandum of Conversation.) During the course of our conversation, Bill Crockett agreed to publish future editions of the Biographic Register and Foreign Service List with a classification of "Confidential" rather than "Official Use Only. " 25X1A9a FOIAb5 3. I visited at Walter Reed Hospital. He seemed rather weak and uncomfortable but was more chipper than I had expected. 4. 1 talked with both Admiral and Mrs. Raborn about houses. Our con- versations can be summarized as follows: The Director is still interested in building his "dream house" and wanted to know the cost of building it with an uncovered swimming pool. (I asked to check on this.) Over the weekend the Raborns found a house they liked Drive, Bethesda. The house is listed for $72, 000 by the Bethesda Realty Company; agent, Mrs. Hampton. The Raborns asked me to request the Riggs National Bank to appraise the house. (I telephoned Mr. Duval at Riggs Approved For Release 2000/08/27 : CIA-RDP76-00183R000500070029-3 SECRET 25X1A9a Approved For ReJaase 2000/08 A-RDP76-O@483R000500070029-3 25X1A9a and also asked H. S. to have appraise the house.) Mrs. Raborn also told me that a friend of hers told her about a rambler with a swimming pool in Chesterbrooke Woods which will be put on the market next week. She will pursue this and will get in touch with me if she wants any assistance. LKW :jrf Approved For Release 2000/08/27 : CIA-RDP76-00183R000500070029-3 EEC`
