25X1A Printing job: At the Morning Meeting today Colonel
White briefed on the events of last week on the proposed PSD printing
25X1A of the~eport. His recital ended with his approval on 7 January
of our printing 4, 000 additional copies for official distribution and of
our declining to print those for public sale. I added the subsequent
25X1A development that the intended to ask the public printer
to handle even the additional 4, 000 for official use. The Director
acknowledged his understanding of the potential problem we could have
with the public printer and the joint Congressional Committee on Printing.
He then stated that any further requirements of th hould
be reviewed and validated at a senior Agency level. I passed this to
Mr. Blake.
Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation: At the Morning
Meeting today Mr. Maury reported on his discussion with Senator
Dominick concerning the EEO legislation
Senator Dominick was completely

sympathetic to the Agency problem and position and indicated that he was
himself opposed to the bill. He noted for that reason he felt that he could
not s ccessfi~lly represent the Agencv'c position and su
ested that

VIP: Colonel White mentioned at the Morning Meeting today the
report of the initial six months experience he had received from VIP. He
suggested that this be given some publicity in order to encourage additional
employees to join. The Director did not specifically approve such publicity
noting that news of that type would
