After the Morning Meeting I met with Colonel White on the following
*1. His request for clarification of the so-called utilities
study and the powerhouse expansion--his request having sur-
faced in connection with our r askin approval of the
retirement date extension of a e I showed 25X1A
Colonel White note dated 20 April as well as the
floor plan diagram !Pt e powerhouse including the addition for
the two new chillers. Colonel White accepted this data as
satisfying his note although he cannot readily accept the fact that
we do not have complete and fully detailed drawings of every
aspect of the Headquarters Building and its utilities. His only
additional comment was that when the survey is completed and
we have our up-to-date drawings, we must insure that we have
copies and not merely GSA.
Colonel White reaffirmed that he has no worry on the
xtension request. I gave the paper back since it
had not yet been signed.
2. New Message Forms for Use After ACT I is in Place:
I explained the background and showed Colonel White the sample
form attached to the D/CO's memo to DTR dated 27 April
(OC-M 71-276 also DD/S 71-1591). I told Colonel White that
OTR was prepared to provide training for secretarial and
clerical personnel who would be using the selectric typewriters
to prepare the messages on new forms. I approved the OC
paper subsequent to this discussion with Colonel White.
