r Approved For Release 2002/0 4.4)Cl 76-00561 R0001 00040060-5 NOTES FOR HAROLD BROtiVNMAN - 21 June 1974 1. The case resurrected itself yesterday. John Warner had a long talk with me last night and I, in turn, had a conversation with Janet this morning. We talked about the pros and cons of her retiring on 30 June, and I committed myself, on her behalf, to make a full scale good faith effort throughout the Agency to see if something can be found for her if she wants to remain for awhile longer. She is thinking it over and will let me know. 2. Colby is talking to the Sumner Interns at 5:00 p.m. on 27 June. His talk precedes their cocktail party at 5:30 p.m. in the EDR. 3. The statement of assets of Air Asia, developed by II Warner and Cary for review. They will return it to you on Monday. 4. At the DCI Meeting this morning, Colby and Graham both mentioned the most favorable comments they have received on our famous "State Department Day" in the auditorium. Colby is now interested in thinking of the possibility, but using a different format, of trying to get representatives from the "economic community", i.e., Treasury, Commerce, Agriculture, FEO, etc., together for a similar session. S. At the meeting I briefly reported on our staff personnel situation, the facts of which are found in the attachment. John F.
