We are undertaking a review of the current
tandards for Agency &ployment as they pertain to
ted, or discovered, use of u?iprescribed drugs or
nuvotics. Such standards include medical, security, legal,
and policy considerations. In this connection we seek you;w
assistance in giving us sow information and guidance on the
legal considerations.
The use, possession, transportation, etc.,
of drugs and narcotics are all addressed by various Federal
and State statutes. In some Jurisdictions, use of one or the
other may be a felonious charge, or only possession may be.
