1. At the Deputies altesdas on Friday, 6 jute 1944, we discussed the deer*
of the Hama Apprvriations Committee to consider epprepriating additional funds so
that we night inelude ell of our pereonnal in the %oblivion area in one building. I
reminded the Director that at an earlier dissuasion okr4ng my sheenea a decision had
been made that in planning the atudliary building we mutIld not menaider moving the
personnel in Project HTAUTOMAT beta their presets legation in the Steuart &Mang.
I than advised him that in reviewing the transcript el the Itudget Hearings I was great-
ly eoncerned abets this deolgion inasmuch as the Committee lied iamb it quite dear

that it wanted to fix the peril ceiling and have a definite underetandbig with the

2. Atter briefly discussing the first point, i.e., Project liTALTIMMAT, it we.
