(Internal Use Only - LLM) Called Mr. Malvik, Office of Management and Budget, concerning a request from the House Internal Security Committee for our views on that Committee's recommendations on the Federal Civilian Employee Loyalty Program. Malvik agreed that although technically legislation was not involved, the overall issue was sensitive from the Administration's standpoint and he appreciated our calling it to OMB's attention and suggested that I talk to Hilda Schreiber on the question of coordinating whatever comments we come up with. Miss Schreiber was absent from her office, but a message was left for her to return my call. 19. (Unclassified - LLM) Called Sandy Mahurin, in the office of Senator William E. Brock (R. , Tenn. ), to get clarification on the STATINTL Senator's interest with respect to handling a personnel referral. The Office of Personnel will arrange for a recruiter to contact Mr. A. D. f Huntingdon, Tennessee. STATINTL 20. (Unclassified - LLM) Called G. Robert Blakey, Chief Counsel, Criminal Laws and Procedures Subcommittee, Senate Judiciary Committee, to arrange an appointment with him for Messrs. Warner, and myself to discuss certain sections of the proposed revision of Title 18, U. S. Code. Blakey said he would advise us tomorrow on what would be a good time to meet with him next week.
