(Internal Use Only - JGO) Talked to Art Kuhl, Chief Clerk, Senate Foreign Relations Committee, late in the day concerning the transcript of Richard Helms' appearance this morning before the Committee. Kuhl told me that the Committee transcripts do not come in until mid morning. He will be glad to talk to me at that time to see what can be done to provide a copy of Helms' testimony for our use. 10. (Unclassified - JGO) Talked to Herbert Fuchs, Counsel, House Judiciary Committee, concerning the Committee hearings on newsmen's privilege. See Memorandum for the Record. 11. (Internal Use Only - LLM) At his request for a meeting, met with Francis Valeo, Secretary of the Senate, and he showed me a letter that Senator Mansfield had received from a I STATOTHR STATOTHR requesting whether I as in any way associated with the Agency. I told Valeo we would let him know the results of our check. 12. (Internal Use Only - LLM) Called G. Robert Blakey, Chief Counsel, Subcommittee on Criminal Laws and Procedures, Senate Judiciary Committee, and told him that our General Counsel would be interested in reviewing with him certain sections of interest in connection with the revision of Title 18. Blakey said he would be glad to meet with us and in that connection suggested that we review provisions of S. 1, which somewhat changed the Subcommittee's draft which we had seen earlier. Messrs. Houston and Warner were advised. 13.
