A) 6 -?.4 ' L1 Approved For Release 2002/06/05 : CIA-RDP77-00512RQQ0100010129-5 DD/A 75-0461 29 January 1975 MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence Sir: In connection with your appearance at the Office of Security staff meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 30 January, I would suggest for your consideration the fol- lowing themes: a. An awareness of the most intensive work being done by Office of Security personnel since 22 December 1974. b. An awareness that in the days of Watergate, they also were intensively employed. c. An awareness that the professionalism of the cadre of Security officers is concerned over the degradation of historic Security principles that appear to be happening. d. While admittedly a delicate point, an aware- ness that there is some apprehension within the Security ranks as to whether potential legal difficulti,s lie ahead because of some officers having participated i activities in response to directives from supervisors. hn F.
