The Select Committee has entered a phase of its Investigations
which involves questions of utmost sensitivity. The rentrai
Intelligence Agency is willing to provide to the Select Committee
and desigreted staff sabers access to certain highly sene:itivc
documents provided that these documents be kept i n secure
facilities befitting their sensitivity.
In this regard, because of the distinguished record of the
Joint teeaaml ttee's security procedures, the CIA has suggested that
the sensitive documents be kept in the Joint C sx ittet feciittles,
i f that I s agreeable with you. The Select Committee would be most
