Select Committee agenda, one for a full day and one for a half day, at Headquarters of the subjects to be covered with the Intelligence Subcommittee or the new members thereof, and a page-size version of the chart used by Carl Duckett, DDS&T, at the 8 September 1975 briefing of the Subcommittee concerning the SS-19 and the SS-11. 2? LIAISON Met with Ralph Preston, Staff Assistant, Defense Subcommittee, House Appropriations Committee,, and reviewed and left with him a copy of the fact sheet leading up to the President's 12 September suspension decision of classified materials to the House Select ommittee. reviewed the matter of Representative J. Kenneth Robinson's 71777 o (R., Va.) assessment based upon his recent trip that sources and methods were not being damaged as a result of publicity and investigations. Preston. recommended that we provide the broader overview of this problem directly to Mr. Robinson. 3. LIAISON Met with Clark McFadden, Counsel, Senate Armed Services Committee, and reviewed and left with him.. a copy of the fact sheet leading up to the President's 12 September suspension decision of classified materials to the House Sele e. We also discussed the problems associated with. Senator Henry M. Jackson's (D., Wash.) request to the Director for sanitization of the 11 February 1975 transcript before the Arms Control. Subcommittee of Senate Armed Services Committee concerning SALT ambiguities. 4.
