SUBJECT Handling of a Senate Select Committee Request
Concerning the DCI Budget Role
1. The attached memorandum describes a situation which
may require some communication with our oversight committees
in Congress concerning the Senate Select Committee investigation.
2. It would seem to me that the matter could be handled
informally and expeditiously on a staff to staff basis,but
your office must be the judge of that. Any advice and
assistance you could give would be appreciated.
3. As always in these matters there is some time urgency
on this. I have assigned action responsibility to
