of Senator Dale L. Bumpers (D. , Ark. ), called and said the Senator would
like. a briefing on the_MicidlA Fs~Q1- In a later conversation Foreman said
the Senator would only permit those on his staff who have security clearances
to sit in on the briefing. Foreman said he has a TS clearance and he Would
let us know the status of any other staffer who might be involved. It was
agreed that I would get back in touch with Foreman about a possible briefing
date sometime during the week of 2 June.
8. Senator Dick Clark (D. , Iowa) visited
Headquarters for a get-acquainted session which was hosted by the Director

Committee, and his plans to travel. to southern Africa in the near future. We
will contact Julie Marshall, of the Senator's staff, to set up a date prior
