20. Stopped by to see Ron Tanzmen, in the
office of Senator William Proxmire, and delivered to him Dr. Proctor's
letter to Proxmire on the subject of a briefing on the economic situation in
,Nortithe PRC and North Korea. We talked about scheduling the
briefings of the Joint Economic Committee on Soviet defense expenditures
(I said this was what Proctor wanted to see Proxmire about) and of Proxmir e's
Appropriations Subcommittee on the Soyuz program. Tamm.en will call me
with suggested dates.
