1. I I Called Dave McGinn in. the Massach.usett::>
office of Representative Michael Harrington (D., Mass.) to report: that the
Agency had no one with the name previously assigned to
Vie nam.I McGinn was quite surprised and said that his constituent seemed
very matter of fact about their son's Agency employment and that he would
check further and get back to me if necessary.
2. Called I I to report: that
we would not be returning the questionnaire which he had sent us regarding
our interest in natural resources information. I went over again the general
areas of our interest and our sources, and pointed out that we had very
limited computer handling of this information. I also stressed. that our
interests overlap the interests of certain other Federal agencies or
departments
and that any information they supply would probably encompass
our effort. "though not ecstatic seemed satisfied.
3. epresentative Robert Giaimo spoke to the
Senior Seminar class on the Hill this morning. The session went very well
with lively exchanges on a number of current issues. Giai.m.o was especially
concerned about any possible valid allegation that President Kennedy's
assassination was in retaliation to a CIA assassination attempt on Castro.

Committee staff, called and said the corrected transcript of the Director's
testimony of 12 March 1974 before the Multinational Subcommittee need not
be delivered to the Committee until early next week.
