I ILIAISON Called Diane Coffey, Press 8- Persona Secretary o Representative Edward Koch (D. , N. Y. ) to confirm tomorrow's briefing of the Representative on. the Middle East at 9:30 a. m. She said the Representative was still interested in having the briefing and as of yet he had not asked any other members to attend. She said she would let us know if he intended to do so. Ms. Coffey later called and said that Representatives Clarence Long (D. , Md.) and Joseph Early (I). , Mass.) would most probably be there. 6, CONSTITUENT Spoke with Linda Perelli-Minetti, on the staff of Representative William M. Ketchum (R. , Calif. ), and told her that we were forwarding in the mail today a copy of the "Robertson Panel Report on Unidentified Flying Objects, 25X1A per her earlier request for one of their constituents. The Report was obtained from OSI. 7. LIAISON After checking with OCI, I called Tom Smeeton., on the staff of the House International Relations Committee, in response to his earlier request for information on the Panama uat:ion and told him that we would forward the information shortly. 25X1A Also, after checking with I I spoke with John Holstein, on the staff of the Co;mmittce's Subcommittee on International Political and Military Affairs, and told him that we would be happy to provide the Subcommittee an update briefing on the Sino-Soviet situation but that there was nothing dramatic to report on the Sino-Soviet relationship. Based on that, Mr. Holstein stated that he did not feel that a briefing at this time would be necessary but that if something did develop, perhaps a briefing could be set up after the Thanksgiving recess. 8. LIAISON I delivered to Marian Czarnecki, Chief of Staff on the House International Relations Comtnit:tee, a copy of the transcript of the hearing on 12 November before the full Committee at which Director Colby testified. I also delivered t:o Czarnecki copies of three transcripts of briefings on covert action that he requested. 9.
