I dropped off a copy of a transcript of William Nelson's, DDO,
testimony at Pat M. Holt's, Chief of Staff, Senate Committee on
Foreign Relations, office. I also dropped a blind memo on Multi-
Spectral Scanning at the office of George R. Berdes, on the staff of
the Subcommittee on International Security & Scientific: Affairs,
House Committee on International Relations.
Snodgrass, House Appropriations Committee staff, referred to aR
New York Times article indicating that the United States Government
might have raised the ante prior to Ii S R major intervention.
He said this conflicted with Agency testimony before his committee.
He wanted an explanation and I said I would check. He also hoped to
come out to the Agency (27, 28 or 29 December) for a day with the NIO's.
He wanted to start with George Carver and then chat with each NIO availabl5X1
He was more interested in substance than how the NIO system works. He
wanted a bit more time with the NIQ's r Thallnur, donesia
After checkir 3X1
with Georg- a e timing was a . I called
Snodgrass back and he agreed to fit in the briefing sometime after he got
back from his EA trip in late January 1976.
