15. INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING Richard
Perle, Permanent Subcommitte on Investigations, Senate Government
Operation Committee staff, called referring to his request of
a week ago and said that.Senator Henry Jackson (D., Wash.) is very
insistent that Perle be briefed on Agency information bearing on AT,T I
and related matters, including any "new finds." He is also interested. in
a briefing on technology transfer (Perle referred to a recent Agency study
on this question) and the specific case of the diversion of integrated
circuitry equipment. The briefing on SA 7 ' he would like for tomorrow
and the technology transfer briefing for either Friday or early next week.
I told Perle I would see what we could do.
