He said what they would be using would be the three or four pages of that testimony which Mr. Duckett had sanitized for release. Tammen said when they had a draft ready, they would like someone to come up and read it over before they send it to the printers. Mr. Hineman, OWI, was alerted to go up. Later in the day, Mr. Tammen called and said it has been postponed. until Monday. Mr. Hineman was advised. STATINTL 8. (Unclassified - JMD) I advised that he had arranged a meeting with Dan Spiegel, Legislative Assistant: to Senator Hubert STATINTL Humphrey, on the subjects of Egypt and Israel. The meeting was set for. 2:30 p. m. , Monday, 14 July. and one other briefer STATSPEC 10. (Internal Use Only - RJK) Tina Yokon-ioto, on the staff of the I-louse Select Committee on Intelligence, called requesting certain information STATINTL about former Agency employees. After conferring with of STATINTL staff, we agreed that no response should be given her until possible ground rules between the Agency and the Committee have been established. He said he was particularly interested in whether these expenditures are on the increase decrease or are stable. If there have been any fluctuations, he would like to know whether they have occurred in the manpower side or in weapons procure- ment. I told Schallert that I would check with our people on this and be back in touch with him.
